Hearken Media was first incorporated in England June 1998. The company was originally known as 4S Music. The main core of business at that time was sound equipment rental and sound recording. After 15 years of working in the broadcasting and sound recording industy Mr ST. Clair became disillusioned with the wide spread unfair practices that were taking place. For example: you either had to have alot of money, or look a certain way to get your music played on the air or to obtain a decent recording contract. With these factors in mind, he decided to go it alone to some how level the playing field. So as to allow anyone who has a gift or a talent, to use the faculities without having to overly prove themselves. Mr ST. Clair holds a PHD in Digital Sound Recording, a Masters Degree in Broadcasting and Analog Sound Enginering, City and Guilds 701/801 in Electronics. In October 2000 the decision was made to move the company from the UK to the US along with his wife so as to fulfil the dream, so in December of that same year the name was changed from 4S Music to Hearken Media Corporation. with offices in Europe and the Caribbean there will always
